Horses naturally pick up parasites while grazing.  A regular deworming schedule is important to help keep your horse healthy.  We have the capability to conduct fecal egg counts in house to create the best deworming schedule for your equine friend.  Parasites negatively impact your horse's coat, gut health, and overal nutrition.

Horses' teeth continue erupting throughout their lifetime.  This means that they need to be maintained in order to keep them happy and healthy.  We recommend yearly visits after your horse is 6 months of age.  Depending on your horse's age and wellbeing they may need to be seen every 6 months.  

Floating a horse's teeth allows our veterinarians to do a complete oral exam.  As the teeth continue to erupt, they wear unevenly and develops peaks, or sharp points, that can lead to painful mouth ulcers. 

If you notice your horse chewing differently than normal, shaking their head, losing weight, dropping food, or resisting their bit they may need seen for a corrective float.
